i am so slack!

i havent updated in yonks! life has been a little hectic here lately, where to begin? hmmm
well.. the rain has finally stopped!but now it is starting to get hot. i am sooo not looking forward to summer, i am definately a winter person! lol
i havent scrapped nearly as much as i wanted to in the last couple of weeks.
this is a card i made for my "adopted" grandma heather. she hasnt been very well lately :( this definately looks nicer irl though. i used some scrap basic grey, scrap bazzil, and scrap pink cardstock (so glad i cleaned out my scraps now!) the flower is stamped using the scribble this set (stampin up) and is the chocolate chip ink, the saying is also a stampin up set that i borrowed off mum. pale pink ribbon is also stampin up stock!

Cheers- this is the last aussle for this month (from the scrap heap) i just love this pic monika took of our boys. (we are hoping to get another pic like this in about 15 years, (when they are 18!))
i used everything in this pack. the papers are just lovely and match really well with bazzil brads (the only things i added!)

cherish - i used all stampin up papers
for this layout, it is alot "softer" irl. the title was done on mums robo (ta mum!) and the date and names are some granny's kitchen stickers (brown)
you cant see them very well here, but on the tiny tags i have drawn some tiny hearts.
evan - i went to my first friday night scrap at the scrapheap last week, and this is the first layout i did for the night. i wasnt too fussed on it when i had finished it, but it is starting to grow on me. i just didnt have my mojo with me that night (must have left it at home!) i love the paper though! very different, but as usual, i bought all the papers in the set that match, but only used the one pattern! grrrr

explore - i have finally finished all the botanical garden pics! yay!! woohoo!
i really like the way this one has turned out, i used scraps of pp and cardstock again and went a bit crazy with my flowers, but i like the result :)
the gals - this pic was taken when we went to chrissy's place in maryborough for a weekend scrap. it was my first trip away from the kids since evan was a bub...boy did i need it!lol it was such a good weekend, very relaxing. i still have a few pics to scrap from the weekend, so will blog in more detail about it then!
this layout was a bit of a challenge though....i used it for a dc at the scrap heap...use purple! i hate purple!!!there is a shaddow on the scan because the bling was a bit on the chunky side.
this page is alot sparkly-er irl !

my boys - am incredibly simple page i did at the scrap heap last week. i bought these papers to match a peice of paper that i have but never had anything to match. needless to say, i never used the original paper so the whole thing never acheived what i wanted to do (use the bit of paper)! if that makes sense!?
but i like it anyway! the stitching is fake , just incase you thought i actually stitched!lol

water heron - heres the last page for today (told you i havent updated in awhile!)
another simple one using scraps. the title is painted chipboard (bella brand.. i love bella!)yes...i actually painted it. for those people who know me well...they know there is only a couple of things i hate doing more on a layout than real sewing , and that is painting chipboard!
anyway, thats where i will leave you for today, if you have made it this far well done! i started this post at 7 am this morning! between phonecalls from hayley (baking dramas - long story!),mum ,monika, zeb etc etc and visitors...its taken awhile to get here! lol
till next time (i wont leave it so long before updating i promise!)
